Throughout our lives, we encounter thresholds that may transform our relationships with ourselves, one another and the world.
Some are deeply personal; others are shaped by the cultures, communities and institutions in which we live.
Women's Thresholds is a living enquiry into these transitions, the conditions that enable women to flourish, and the possibilities that emerge through research, writing and work in the world.

From research conversations and creative workshops to festivals, exhibitions and intimate gatherings, our work creates spaces for women's stories to be shared, different perspectives to meet and new possibilities to emerge.

Second Spring
What Becomes Possible in a Woman's Second Spring?
What happens to our sense of identity, purpose, desire and agency as we move into life beyond menopause?
Second Spring is an independent qualitative research enquiry exploring women's lived experiences of this transition, and the personal, cultural and social conditions that shape their possibilities for flourishing.
Through conversations with women and engagement with existing research, we are exploring what changes, what becomes possible and how women's experiences might inform wider conversations about elderhood, leadership and our place in the world.
