I'm interested in the deeper patterns shaping our lives: how systems work, how change happens, and, importantly, what enables us to live and lead well on a finite planet.

My work sits at the intersection of scholarship and practice, bringing rigour, imagination and care to complex questions

My professional background has always sat alongside a longstanding interest in consciousness, psychology, ecology, spirituality and the ways human beings make meaning.

I am a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and hold a Master’s degree in Transpersonal Psychology, where my research explored creativity and innovation.

Those two worlds the practical and the transpersonal have never felt contradictory to me. Finance taught me to pay attention to structures, resources, consequences and what the numbers reveal.

Leadership taught me about people, power, relationships, uncertainty and the difference between what an organisation says it values and what its systems actually make possible. Psychology deepened my interest in consciousness, identity, transition and the conditions through which human beings change.

And years of working within environmental organisations brought me continually back to the living world, not simply as something to protect, but as something we belong to and might learn from.

Today, my work lives somewhere in the meeting place between these perspectives.

Research

I am currently undertaking qualitative research into women's lives after menopause, asking what enables women not simply to manage this transition, but to flourish in the decades beyond it.

Organisational Work

I also work selectively with purpose-led organisations navigating growth, transition, complexity or a moment when their existing structures no longer quite fit what they are becoming.

My 90-Day Strategy & Operating Model Review draws on more than two decades of senior leadership, finance and organisational experience to help leaders understand what is happening beneath the surface of their organisation and identify practical routes forward.

My career has included senior roles across finance, organisational leadership, sustainability and environmental restoration.

I have worked as a CFO, CEO and board director within purpose-led organisations, including leading an Australian environmental organisation through a period of significant growth.

Earlier work in finance and organisational leadership gave me a detailed understanding of the structures beneath organisations: money, governance, systems, people, operations and the often invisible conditions that allow good work to happen.

I am also the author of The Way of the Sea Priestess, first published in 2012, part of a much longer personal enquiry into our relationship with place, landscape, consciousness and the sacred. These strands may once have appeared separate.

Increasingly, I understand them as parts of the same enquiry.
